Ramadan & Eid badges for children

IMG_6084This Ramadan, I wanted to create a new tradition in our home, mark the holy month and Eid in a fun way on the blog, and do more for charity, so I thought I’d kill three birds with one stone by designing badges the kids could wear for Eid, have them produced in bulk for others who might want them for their children and sell them on the blog for charity!

Where does the money from my purchase go?

These badges are great for marking your child’s first Ramadan or for children of all ages to wear on Eid day. £1 from every sale will go to two brilliant appeals run by Human Appeal – their Yemen crisis appeal (which you can read more about here) and their Born in Crisis appeal (read more about that here). Both these appeals really speak to me for different reasons; the Yemen crisis appeal because of how forgotten Yemen is and the devastation they have experienced over the past few years and because Yemen is part of my ethnic background, and the Born in Crisis appeal because the sheer number of children born into conflict and poverty is absolutely heartbreaking. We should all be doing more to help organisations that work on the ground with those suffering as a result of conflict and warfare and while you probably wouldn’t even miss £1.50, it could make all the difference to someone else.

You can purchase one badge or two and donate more to the appeal if you’d like, or simply purchase the number you require. Every purchase will receive a confirmation of the donation once it has been made after Eid day.

More about the badges & your purchase

These are 38mm (1 and 1/2 inch) custom-printed button badges, perfectly sized for young and older children. They have steel pin backs (see photos below) that help you pin this to clothing safely.

Unfortunately, we are only able to dispatch to UK addresses at this time. However, if you live overseas, would like to purchase a large quantity and are happy to cover the cost of shipping, please get in touch!

Please note that the badges are dispatched via second class mail and will arrive within two to three working days (including Saturdays). We do have an express next-day option which you are able to select at checkout.

Give to wonderful causes and pop these little adorable buttons on your children, your nieces, your nephews, or even buy them as gifts for the little stars in your life. Thank you all for supporting the project – whether that is through purchases, donations, sharing across your social media or just telling friends and family about it – may Allah (SWT) reward you abundantly.

This is a beautiful initiative sis and they’re so cute. And I actually agree with you. Unfortunately Yemen is indeed forgotten even though their pain isn’t to any other countries. May Allah help them and bless you for having such a beautiful intention
