The Ramadan and Eid badges are back! If you’ve been following the blog for a while, you’ll know that last Ramadan, I wanted to create a new tradition in our home, mark the holy month and Eid in a fun way for the kids, and do more for charity. So I designed festive badges the kids could wear for Eid, produced in bulk for others who might want them for their children and sold them on the blog for charity!
It went brilliantly Alhamdullilah and we raised £327 during Ramadan and then again at Eid ul Adha. The donations went to Human Appeal’s Born in Crisis appeal and Yemen crisis appeal, as well as Muslim Hands’ Motherkind campaign.
Who are we supporting this year?
This year I thought I’d do things a little differently. We’ve got just under 30 days before we welcome Ramadan inshaAllah and this year I’d like for the proceeds to go towards feeding the fasting so the badges will be on sale from today – 30.04.17 to 25.05.17 (or until they sell out), to enable me to make a donation before Ramadan begins.
There’s only 100 of each badge so when they’re gone, they’re gone! Please make your purchases as soon as possible so they get to you in plenty of time for Ramadan/ Eid.

I would be ever so grateful if you could share this on social media by tagging a friend here or here – I’m looking forward to completely selling out of these over the next few weeks. We’re all busy planning for Ramadan and the worry of not having enough food for Iftar or Suhoor hasn’t even crossed our minds. This is just a little way for us to give to those for whom food isn’t a luxury.
Thank you all for supporting the project – whether that is through purchases, donations, sharing across your social media or just telling friends and family about it – may Allah (SWT) reward you abundantly.
