Last Eid, I bought all my nieces and nephews books to go in their gift bags. I felt like they were missing something though and I really couldn’t put my finger on what exactly they were missing. I was reading a book one evening and as I put the bookmark back in its place, I thought ‘That’s it! A bookmark!’
So I set out to create one and the first quote that came to mind was one by Dr. Seuss from Oh, The Places You’ll Go! I put it together fairly quickly and made them a little thicker than your average bookmark. When I posted a photo of them on social media and asked if any of you would like a free printable Dr. Seuss bookmark too, LOADS of you said yes!
So here they are! I’ve created two versions, one with Dr. Seuss colours and another that’s just black and white for grown ups that might want one. I’ve been asked by several adults if they can have one too!
When I put these together as gifts, I stuck them onto some scrapbooking paper to make them a little more fun. You could do the same, or just cut them out and laminate them. They make a brilliant addition to any present involving a book and it costs you virtually nothing!
