I’m Iman, mum to two children under 5 and the person behind this blog. I love planning, coffee, IKEA, food, and solving an organisation problem. I work from home and live in London but I was born and raised in Dubai. I cannot get my head around maths or makeup and I’m terrified of large birds and snakes. I prefer the cold to heat even though I grew up in the desert. I’m not a fan of roses, but love tulips.
I used to struggle with perfectionism and over the past few years that has slowly evolved into a ‘Progress not perfection’ mindset. I am passionate about clear, organised spaces and finding ways to work with what you have to create the space you want. We live in a 54 square metre flat in one of the most densely populated cities in the world and nothing makes me more excited than finding a storage solution for a small space that works. Over the years, I’ve found it easier to let go of things and to only own what I use, what serves multiple purposes and what is sustainable. Although all of that is a work in progress, it’s a step in the right direction and I am so excited to have a little space on the internet where I can share with others how little changes can add up to huge results.
On the blog, you will find inspiration for organising, decluttering, and creative projects. You’ll also be able to try family-friendly recipes that are quick, easy and delicious. I love a good printable and have created loads for my own home/ family that I share here. I’ve also recently created a little range of products that I am excited to share with you and I pray that they benefit your families just as much as they have mine.
